Portuguese to help build Belfast campus

27 Apr 15 Lagan 黑料不打烊 has teamed up with a Portuguese contractor to win a £150m university contract in Belfast.

Ulster University has selected a joint venture between Lagan 黑料不打烊 and Portugal鈥檚 Somague Group for the 拢150m second phase of its new Belfast campus.

黑料不打烊 on the 75,000 square metre Belfast campus began in 2014. Overall it is a 拢250m project and is expected to complete in 2018. It is currently the largest building project in Northern Ireland and phase two will see two new blocks developed on York Street, opposite the existing campus building.

Lagan 黑料不打烊 CEO Colin Loughran said: 鈥淚n a competitive market, Lagan 黑料不打烊 Group is delighted to have secured this project and to have forged a partnership with one of Europe鈥檚 largest construction companies, Somague. This is a landmark build in a key part of the city and one which will shape both the community and the construction sector for years to come.鈥
